Happy birthday Noah

Today, January 20th, is Noah's birthday. If he were still with us, he would have become a teenager today.

Noah's incredible energy and huge heart touched so many around him. He was the first to volunteer for virtually any job. First to offer a kind word. And first to give a hug to someone in need.

It's no wonder that one of Noah's favorite activities was volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, where children and adults hand-pack meals formulated specially for starving children, and then ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world. This was the perfect activity for Noah: helping people, working hard, and being part of a team... with a little competition thrown in too, as teams compete to see who can pack the most meals during their session.

To honor Noah's memory today, we encourage you to:

- Offer your support to Feed My Starving Children, in Noah's memory. There are a variety of ways you can help further their mission.
- Read through your favorite memories, and post your own memories of Noah. Add a photo or video too.
- Donate to the Bucklin Family Fund, where funds will form a new foundation to help families grow closer through the power of technology. We're in the formative stages now -- lots of paperwork and planning -- and can't wait to share this exciting work with you soon.
- Keep praying for Noah's friends and classmates; they're wearing blue today in his memory. He made a huge difference in the lives of so many. Please pray that those whose lives he touched will continue to put their trust in God and their hope in the future.

As always, thank you, beyond words, for all you've done - and continue to do - to honor our boys' memory.

Hi Ginger,

I just wanted to drop a note and let you know Tyler and 15 of the other boys in his troop participated in the Feed My Starving Children program last night in Eagan. They were exetremely proud of the number of boxes they filled. Tyler mentioned to me he thought of Noah almost the entire time he was there.

When I was reading this topic, I felt so sad. Noah it's not here already sad to know... Noah is a gift from God.. I will definitely support Feed My Starving Children. I;m not related to Noah but I just want to express my feelings and condolences here.

Happy Birthday Noah!

Hi Mrs. Bucklin,
My name is Tyler Maltby. I was a freind of Noah's. Noah was a great kid. I went to fifth grade with him and had to move half way through the year. Noah came to my house a couple of times to spend the night, and I came to his house once. One day i was sitting by myself at lunch, and Noah came to the table and sat down. I said, Hi Noah. And he stayed and ate lunch with me, instead of saying hi, and leaving. Then Noah introduced me to some of his freinds, because I did not know any one yet in Christains class. That made my day and I am glad that Noah came and sat down with me that day, because I probably would not of been freinds with him. Noah was a good kid, and it is a shame he is not with us today on his thirtenth b-day.
Happy Birthday Noah,

I just sent you an email and then I decided to check your blog and boy am I glad I did! God is amazing and I now know why Tyler and I were remembering Noah today. We miss him dearly.

Tyler and his troop help in feed my starving children program. I know that will bring a whole new level of satisfaction to Tyler. Thank you for sharing with us. I am sure we will be volunteering more time to such a wonderful cause. Thanks you for sharing this.

As I had said in our email, Tyler and I were remembering Noah and all the Joy he brought to not only our lives but the lives of Many. How in his short 12 and half years he touched and brightened more lives than many do in much longer time frame. He was a true blessing to our lives.

We wrap you and the rest of the family in love and light.
